Course Description
How do artists make a living? This course prepares students for the realities of art as a profession. Students acquire essential skills in Art Law, such as creative and intellectual copyright. They also learn about 21st Century digital technologies, installing exhibitions, ideas of contemporary curating and collecting. They acquire skills to develop CVs, write applications for opportunities such as residencies and commissions, document and make presentations. Through all of this, the students become equipped to take on the changing and challenging role of the cultural practitioner today.
