SELF-INITIATED INQUIRY BASED RESEARCH ABOUT MULTI- AGE LEARNERS IN ART EDUCATION OFBEACONHOUSE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY.
The research aims to re-visit multi-age classroom dynamics of Higher Art Education of Beaconhouse National University with the aim to identify differentiated learning needs of the learner’s coming from varied societal and cultural backgrounds, so as the pedagogical strategies employed to facilitate life long learning. Through this research an attempt has been made to evaluate teaching and learning approaches in the light of critical and socio-constructivist pedagogical approaches. The paper enlightens explanatory approach to phenomenological inquiry and analysis in qualitative research methods in order to examine human experiences through reflective observations. In doing so, seven themes have been re-assembled to unearth experiences of Teacher students and Art educators through content based explanatory inquiry and analysis. The outcome of this research would contribute positively in developing the admission policy, curricula, learning and teaching approaches in Higher Art Education suited to diverse social and cultural context in Pakistan.
