This study focuses on the role of digital technologies in Art and Design universities of Pakistan. This study aims to explore the potential of how art and design academia can use digital mediums in educational systems to enhance learning processes. A theory was developed from Piaget’s idea of teaching new generation with a reformed educational structure that allows teachers and educators to develop new teaching practices. Digital technologies are playing an important role in learning and teaching environment. Academics need to develop new culture and invent new ways to enhance learning abilities of the students by integrating digital technologies in their relevant fields, specially starting from foundation years in Art and Design studies.
